The May OW 100 Club draw was carried out on 31st May at The Wheel of Fortune in Alpington and the winners were:

Cheques in the sum of £60 have been issued to the winners.
Steve and I were joined by Chris Parnham, Joanna Voelker (Bassingthwaighte), Sandra Howard, Jane Harvey (Bassingthwaighte), Louise James (Hambelton) and two debutants - Steve Farthing and Jacky McLaren (Green). The draw was kindly carried out by Jacky.
I think some record of extremes might have been created regarding the distances that people have travelled to attend the draw! Whilst Steve Farthing lives in Swardeston (others will probably correct me but it is a mere 10 miles away), Jacky resides in Mount Eden, Auckland, New Zealand (approx 11,500 miles!). Thanks for popping by on your European tour Jacky!

I think the bar takings at The Wheel of Fortune would have been pretty slim of we hadn't been in attendance. It was a pleasant hostelry, just not many people about on a Wednesday evening.
The November 100 Club draw was carried out on Tueday 22nd November at The Queen of Iceni in Norwich City Centre and the winners were:

This was the traditional pre-Xmas lunchtime gathering of the '60's Bunch'. Attendees this year were (and in no particular order and apologies if I have missed anyone out!): Colin Farrington, Philip Wade, Alan Bridges, Heather Gill (Stark), Joanna Voelker (Bassingthwaighte), Jane Bassingthwaighte, Louise James (Hambelton), Sandra Howard, Alan Corrigan, Adrian Marfleet, Anne Wright, Sandra Hornigold (Leeks), Suzanne Barrett, Marion Reed (Rix), Eileen Wyatt (Pearson), Ian Ray, Steve Read, Phil Robinson. The draw was kindly carried out by Alan Corrigan.
It was another opportunity to mix with fellow Wycol Alumni in a very social atmosphere and reaslise the different 'connections' that being a former Wycol pupil can throw up! Being a Wetherspoons establishment, the fact that the offer of lunch and a pint was £8.40 was a bonus!

A couple of photos below. The draw was kindly carried out by Colin Farrington. As The White Swan is a community run hostelry, it was good to see it well frequented mid-week. Long may it continue...
The dates have been set for the next few OW 100 Club draws as follows:
Wednesday 21st September - The White Horse, South Lopham (twixt Thetford and Diss) - 7.30pm.
Wednesday 26th October - The Windmill, Necton - 7.30pm
Tuesday 22nd November - The Queen of Iceni, Riverside, Norwich. This is the traditional pre-Xmas gathering of the 60's Bunch which is a bit earlier this year. This is a lunchtime draw and the gang normally start to assemble around Noon.
Wednesday 14th December - The STAR draw (£500, £200, £75) - Venue and time to be decided.

The July OW 100 Club draw was carried out on the evening of Wednesday 20th July 2022 at The Roman Camp Inn in Aylmerton twixt Cromer & Sheringham.

Cheques in the sum of £55 will be posted to Tony but David was able to have his cheque presented to him [see photo] as he was an attendee!!
We think we had a record number of attendees [23] for an OW 100 club draw! The draw was kindly carried out by Nick Harding. It was a lovely evening with a good mix of former pupils ranging from Eileen & Maggy starting in 1951 & John arriving in 1977.
