Golf Day 2024

Old Wymondhamians Golf Day and Reunion
Dunston Hall - June 28th 2024

We enjoyed meeting again at Dunstan Hall. The weather was overcast but good conditions for the golfers, and the non-golfers chatted on the Golf Clubhouse patio, as we have done in the past and gathered for the meal in the Bunkers Bar in the evening. John Beales and Terry Pyle who weren’t with us last year, have sadly died and we missed them. Eileen will be unable to join us in the future as she has moved to Knebworth to be near her son. She enjoyed joining us and we will miss her company.

Phil Robinson and Steve Read again held the OW 100 Club Star Draw.

Brian Traves was unable to defend his title because he was away on business but did get the trophy back to the Golf Shop – thank you.

The results of the Golf Event were:-

Provisional bookings have been made to meet next year on Friday 27th June – to be confirmed when we know of any event that may be taking place at the College to which past students are invited.
