Wymondham College Cricket Development Programme

Established in 2015 this exciting initiative enables former students to re-engage with the college to help the development of young cricketers.

The initiative has the backing of Norfolk Cricket Board and two local clubs, Swardesden and Great Melton.

To date £10,100 has been raised to support the project. This includes £4,020 from a sport England grant to purchase essential equipment (beginners bats and balls for example) and £750 from the OWs to provide the 1st XI kit for 2016.

We are able to provide 400 hours of coaching with the funds raised thus far and the impact has been felt already; girls are training after school on Mondays and Year 7 boys have beaten Langley on their way to the County Cup Finals!

If you would like to be involved in this cricket initiative in any way please get in touch with Justin Smith at the College.
