The Cricket Pavilion 1963
The cricket pavilion, from a postcard c1963. The main section of the building was the pre-WW2 Morley Golf Course clubhouse, that stood originally next to Golf Links Road and was moved to the location shown in the late 1950s. The clock tower was added early in 1962 and was designed and constructed by Messrs. Mullenger, Seeley and Clarke, aided by pupils. The clock was a century old and had stood previously on one of the Norwich Union buildings.
