Standards Day 1961

This photo was taken at some time during the athletics season (2nd half of Spring Term) in either 1960 or 1961, perhaps while attempting to gain Standards, on what was a fairly rough track to the east of Morley Hall.  The iron railings marked the boundary between the Hall and the Park. Note the use of sweaters rather than tracksuits - the latter were strictly for the 'pros' and beyond the budget of most parents.
