Inter-schools Match 1961 - On the Track

The track was laid out in the Park next to (and perhaps overlapping) the 1st XI cricket pitch.  It appears to have comprised a two-lane oval and a two-lane straight.  Please let us know if you can identify anyone.

"It's a bit embarrassing - I can't recall this event! Sorry I can't be of more help. I do remember a WC team entering the relay run round Norwich ring road on which I was the last leg and Cambridge Harriers were competing - their last leg runner was Herb Elliott (!) who went went the wrong way and got half way to Yarmouth before realising his error - so I have the distinction of starting my leg after him, but finishing before him." - Norman Ashton

Low hurdles (220 yards?).  Cricket nets are rigged in the background, confirming this as Summer Term.
