Russian Delegation Visit

Sue Rushmere and Jenny Hall demonstrate the art of mince pie making to a group of visiting Russians, under the watchful eye of the Warden, R.V. Metcalfe.  We're unsure of the year, but it's likely that the date was towards the end of an Autumn Term. Says Jenny, "It’s just as well they didn’t want to sample them, otherwise the cold war could still be going on. I have no idea what they were doing at WC, perhaps it was to get ideas for some of their gulags."
