Kett Hall, soon after completion

Taken from the water tower.

Lincoln Hall left rear. Note that Kett was built with ground floor extensions - Lincoln had these added later. In the foreground are the workshops (left) and the old North House Common Room ('The Club'). Beneath each of the small chimneys is a pot-bellied coke stove. Miscreants were sentenced to breaking large coke lumps into smaller pieces, with the aid of a length of scaffolding pole.
