Golf Day 2016

Old Wymondhamians Golf Day and Reunion
Sprowston Manor Hotel and Country Club - July 1st 2016

We all thoroughly enjoyed seeing each other again at Sprowston Manor for what was the best attended Reunion in the sixteen years we have been meeting. We had the opportunity to chat at the Clubhouse in the afternoon and in the Suffolk Suite during a very enjoyable Dinner in the evening.

Eileen Baron and Margaret Norton were with us once more and it was wonderful that Pam Seeley was with us as well. As it was 65 years since the College was founded Maggy Skipp organised for those who were there in 1951 to be together for the meal.

David and Sue Spinks were guests of the Old Wymondhamians Committee and a presentation was made to David in recognition for the many years he has devoted to the Old Wymondhamians in our endeavours to develop the link between past pupils and importantly the link between the College and the Alumni and the Association.

We welcomed Sean Cunningham (1972 – 1980) who won the Men’s Golf. Sean will be defending his title next year hopefully joined by others from different decades.
