Golf Day 2022

Old Wymondhamians Golf Day and Reunion
Dunston Hall - July 2nd 2022

Thankfully another fine day for the golfers and those of us who met to chat on the patio of the Bunkers Bar – Clubhouse. Because of a family commitment Carole Arnold was unable to play golf and attend the meal but she did join us in the afternoon and Phil and Steve presented her with an engraved vase thanking her for all she did for the Old Wymondhamians over many years. 

Our normal arrangements were disrupted because the oven in the Bunkers Bar kitchen needed repairing and we were transferred to the Eaton Suite in the hotel. We did enjoy welcoming Eileen and also David and Heather Bligh who had travelled from Australia. I passed on the Best Wishes David and Geraldine Howard, Jack Smith, David Burdett and Emba Jones who unfortunately could not be with us.    

Phil Robinson and Steve Read joined us again to hold the June STAR 100 Club draw.

The results of the Golf Event were:-

Provisional bookings have been made to meet next year on June 30th or July 7th – to be confirmed when we know of any event that may be taking place at the College to which past students are invited.
